Reaching Leadership Goal
Hey, so I looked at the Purdue University website that was linked and discovered that the Kolb's Model is just a more detailed version of our WOW Blog from last mod? So I'm not sure what else to say.
I will say it's ironic (?) that my original goal was to find ways to use PBIS to create cohesion among the staff at my school, but then less than a week later I had some experiences that made me go....eeeeeeh nope I'm done. They can figure it out on their own and have a worse time at it because I can't handle working with babies anymore.
What a form of whiplash.

I think this is a good idea. You have your upper level classes that you do so much planning and work with. Some of the people who are working with you don't do half of what you do in a day because you are very detail oriented and give a lot of of that detail to your students. Stop focusing on trying to bring cohesion amongst the staff because so many are angry about stuff (myself included) and the moment we get together we discuss issues that'll never be solved. Maybe next year, when we have a new principal--based on the meeting last week--they will take on that job of trying to bring cohesion.
ReplyDeleteNick,
ReplyDeleteWhat exactly is PBIS? What isthe reason why it seems to not be very popular at your school?
